4 WAY Diseqc Switch For Satellite TV Dish Antenna Most decoders these days support DiSEqC switching. By enabling this feature within the decoders menu settings, a DiSEqC switch can be used. This 4 port version will enable you to connect up to 4 separate dishes pointing to different satellites. For example, when you enter the DISH SETTINGS screen on a Strong decoder, you can enable DiSEqC 1.0 and commit the satellite name to either 1, 2, 3 or 4. So, Optus C1 could be on switch port 1, Optus D1 on port 2, Optus D2 on port 3 and Intelsat8 on port 4. When you have aligned each dish, connect them to the switch and scan the channels. As you change channels, the switch will electronically change to the correct satellite instantly and automatically.
